Ladakh-Guide is founded by Mr Stanzin Lawang Tapo, Sonam Wangchuk and Dorjey Rabstan - three very well experienced guides from Ladakh.

Stanzin Lawang is from the very popular Markha Valley Ladakh in the Himalayan region and born in a Peasant family. He studied Buddhism and Buddhist Meditation in South India , Bangalore for about ten years in a Theravada Buddhist Monastry known as Mahabodhi Society, Bangalore, India, under his most respected Teacher Achariya Buddharakkhita. And since 1995,he has been working as a Trekking and Cultural tour guide here in Ladakh and Zangskar Region. In the year 2002,he and his partner Dorjey Rabstan started their own Travel Company “Ladakh Voyages”under which they operate various Tour Programs - using all their experiences as Tour guides.

Sonam Wangchuk was born in Karsha Zangskar India, and he has been travelling through Zangskar,Ladakh and Spiti Valley as a tour Leader for many times since 1995, and also supervising the Karsha Monastery in Zangskar. And every winter he leads a big French group for the winter Chaddar Trek (frozen Zangskar river).

Ladakh Voyages is managed by the Expertise the Dorjey Rabstan and Tapo Lawang has collected. We provide good quality equipments,excellent food,personal care and attention. All our field Staff are Environmentally very concious-Tins Bottles and plastic are brought back to the Cities to be disposed properly.
